SEFABAR LogoSEFABAR is an acronym that comes from the words Sustainable European Farm Animal Breeding And Reproduction.

SEFABAR was EU funded from December 2000 - December 2003.

SEFABAR was a thematic research network that combines the expertise of over 40 scientists and business representatives in animal breeding, reproduction and socio-economics from all over Europe.

SEFABAR aimed at finding sustainable, economically sound and accepted breeding scenarios for major European farm animal species, as well as a broad overview of sustainable breeding possibilities for farm animals as a whole.
